Mid-GT 1: The bulk of the Imperial Army heads up the road toward Endore. One contingent lines up on the eastern border of The Swamps. Coron heads in to negotiate personally with the Swamp-Creatures; Eodred takes a small contingent through the Teleport eastward to Ka-Chunk and heads through Rhiannon toward Endore from the southeast. Eodred creates Vortices nearby. Emissaries are dispatched to the Elves and the Dwarrows.

End of GT 1: Ben Ruben sends out Emissaries and waits for the arrival of the Imperial army. Eodred moves her two Vortices up to the edge of Endore's southeastern border.

|
Mid-GT 2: The Empire consolidates its two main contingents along Endore's border, attacks the line, kills a few Endoran units near the western flank and makes an incursion into Endoran territory. Eodred's contigent advances, but she remains behind to create two more Vortices.

End of GT 2: Ben Ruben counterattacks and pushes the line back to Endore's borders, demoralizing several Imperial units. Eodred moves up the new Vortices to join the line along Endore's southeastern border.

Mid-GT 3: The Duchy of Endore gains the initiative and reforms its line at the border of Endore. Ben Ruben makes no attacks.
|
Near End of GT 3: The Imperial Army has shored up its line against Endore's army and has scored a few more kills. But Eodred's Vortices have now ripped through the gathered Endoran army, killing many units and forcing all the rest to retreat (they are circled in the small scale picture above, and are marked with red dots in the larger picture if you click on the smaller one). There is one lone Goblin Light Spear unit out in eastern Endore which was out of the reach of the Vortices, and it stands alone against two stacks of Imperial army units. In a twist of exceptionally bad luck, the units with whom Ben Ruben was stacked received a "Defender Eliminated" result from the Vortex attack, and if the Empire wins the initiative he is subject to capture.
